Dance/movement: Resonans, site specific experiences through sound, poetry and movement at Prins Bertils Stig in Halmstad, Halland.
Resonance invites visitors to experience nature with their whole body and to be inspired by the sounds, rhythms, and movements of each place.
The nature around us is in constant motion, from the gentle breath of the waves to the slow dance of the trees and the wind playing across the landscape. These movements can be reflected within us, echo through our bodies, and remind us that we too are part of this eternal dance.
The project unfolds along Prins Bertil’s Path, at Örnäsudden, Svärjarehålan, and Tylöbäck, each place carrying its own rhythm and voice. Through sound and poetry, channels that may have been forgotten are reopened, if we simply turn our attention to what is already here.
Everything is presented as an audio guide that leads the visitor through sound, poetry, and nature in a meditative and creative way. The guide is available online at
www.halmstadstories.se and can be used directly outdoors along Prins Bertil’s Path.
Resonance seeks to inspire presence, reflection, and playful interaction with nature. The project demonstrates how art can open the senses and create connection between people, places, and environments.
The film was created by Roger Westerberg.
The project has been carried out with support from Region Halland, Halmstad Municipality, and Destination Halmstad.
